What is the difference between a DSKTCI6482 and an EVMTCI6482?
An EVMTCI6482 a combination of a DSKTCI6482 base card with a populated Mezzanine connector and a TCI6482 Mezzanine card plugged into it. This combination adds to the base functionality of the base DSK by adding a second DSP for multiprocessing through Serial Rapid I/O and Gigabit Ethernet capabilities. All documentation and target content examples will reside in the boards\dsktci6482 subdirectory but the EVMTCI6482 version will be more fully populated.

R822 (gigabit ENET) issue on older Mezzanine cards.
Early releases on the EVMTCI6482 Mezzanine card have R822 (the GTXCLKDLY pull-up) populated. The correct configuration is to have R822 unpopulated. This pull-up determines part of the PHY power-up state. Depending on the code you are using, the PHY may or may not be reconfigured in software. If you are having problems with the gigabit network interface on the Mezzanine card, check R822 and unpopulate if necessary.
